 JR Munger has steadily been working in the construction trade since 1995, starting out as a laborer and working up to lead carpenter for a custom home contractor in Jackson, WY. In 2002, he moved from Jackson to Star Valley; working as lead carpenter for another local company. In the spring of 2007, Munger Mountain Construction was incorporated. Our insured and licensed company has been building ever since!

Since then, we've specialized in building residential custom homes, barns, additions, and remodels throughout the Star Valley and Jackson areas. Working with logs, timber frame packages, and natural rock is one of JR's passions. Having the natural beauty of the building material shine through in the project's aesthetics is part of how we help capture the clinet's vision and dream and build it into reality.  

 Commerically, we've worked with the town of Afton, WY, Lincoln County School District #2, and Teton County.  Partnering with store owners, we've helped construct new and remodeled stores in the valley.  Local business owners appreciate the professional office spaces they now have since working with us. 

Running the company to reflect his own work ethic beliefs, JR's main requirements are: honesty, quality construction, doing things right, open communication, and to make it last.
